Mutare – The ZANU PF Women’s League has vowed to intensify its mobilisation drive across Manicaland Province, with a renewed call for unity, empowerment, and unwavering support for President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s leadership.

Speaking at a well-attended inter-district meeting in Mutare this Saturday, Manicaland Provincial Chairperson Cde Dorothy Mabika urged women to be at the forefront of the party’s grassroots mobilisation and development efforts.

“We must be pacesetters. I will work with every woman, regardless of position, across party wings, churches, and affiliates. Let us unite, amplify the great works of President Mnangagwa, and defend ZANU PF,”

said Cde Mabika. She also emphasized responsible social media use, discouraging divisive messaging.

The event drew high-level party figures, including Politburo member Cde Irene Zindi and Central Committee member Hon. Gertrude Mutandi. Both hailed the strong turnout and unity among Manicaland women, urging them to reclaim political ground, especially in Mutare where the party holds no parliamentary seats.

“The unity here is commendable. Let us match that energy with action and ensure we win back seats. President Mnangagwa’s development thrust from infrastructure to empowerment projects must be defended through organised mobilisation,” said Cde Zindi.

Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Advocate Misheck Mugadza, challenged women to be active participants in the economy. Highlighting initiatives like the Resin Company in Mutasa, he urged women to explore opportunities in tourism, trade, and entrepreneurship, particularly at platforms such as the Sanganai/Hlanganani Expo.

The inter-district meetings, already held in Buhera, Makoni, Nyanga, and Mutare, are part of a broader outreach campaign that will soon cover Zimunya-Marange, Chimanimani, Mutasa, and Chipinge.

With renewed energy and strategic focus, the ZANU PF Women’s League is reinforcing its position as a vital pillar in driving Vision 2030 and fortifying the party’s grassroots support ahead of future political milestones.
