Harare – Masvingo football is celebrating a new chapter after Adam Tende, the promising forward from Masvingo United (Asipo Haapo), sealed a dream move to Castle Lager Premier Soccer League giants, Caps United, famously known as the Green Machine or Makepe-Kepe.
Tende, who has been a standout performer in the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Division One League, earned his promotion after a string of dazzling displays for Masvingo United. His pace, creativity, and sharp eye for goal caught the attention of Caps United scouts, paving the way for his rise to Zimbabwe’s elite football stage.
Speaking after the announcement, Tende expressed gratitude to Masvingo United and excitement for the challenge ahead.
“I’m grateful to Masvingo United, my coaches, and the fans who believed in me. Playing in the premier league has always been a dream, and now I have the chance to represent the Green Machine at the highest level. I promise to give my all,” he said
Masvingo United supporters hailed Tende’s promotion as a proud moment not only for the club but for the entire Masvingo football community.
“Adam’s elevation is proof that Masvingo talent can shine on the biggest stage. We are proud of him, and we know he will make both Makepe-Kepe and Masvingo proud,” he said.
