Masvingo – Zimbabwean reggae sensation artist Caleb Tereka also known as Ras Caleb is making a powerful return to the music scene with the release of his highly anticipated 14-track album, “Mukaranga” on August 22. The launch marks a long-awaited comeback for the artist, who has been relatively quiet in recent years, leaving fans eager for fresh rhythms from the beloved singer.
The official unveiling will be a homecoming celebration at the Steak House in Waterfalls, Harare, a venue close to Ras Caleb’s heart. With strong local support and excitement already buzzing, thousands of fans from Harare and beyond are expected to attend.
“Fans have been asking when I’ll give them something new, and now their requests have been answered,”
Ras Caleb said, expressing gratitude for the loyalty and patience of his followers.
The new album builds on the success of Ras Caleb’s hit single “Zig”, which captured widespread attention and left listeners hungry for more. Long-time supporter George Mufaro Mudukuti summed up the mood:
