“This meeting is for us to craft resolutions for higher platforms,” Cde Mandebvu explained, urging that each resolution should reflect loyalty, focus, and vision. The first resolution was clear, “Till 2030, Cde Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa must remain in power because he is a capable leader who delivers on his promises.”

Cde Brian Munyoro praised the quality of contributions, particularly commending Cde Tinashe Ngavi’s call to intensify mobilisation at school level. “Catch them young,” he said, highlighting that youth empowerment remains a key priority.

Representing the provincial chairman, Cde Trust Mugabe applauded Masvingo’s Youth League for their loyalty to the party and unwavering support for President Mnangagwa.

Cde Paradza, speaking with humility, reminded delegates that the meeting “belongs to you and he explained that the interdistricts were designed to allow grassroots members to set the agenda. He expressed satisfaction at the unanimous support for Resolution Number One, extending the President’s leadership beyond 2030.

Commending President Mnangagwa’s leadership under the Second Republic, Cde Paradza pointed to major development achievements such as road rehabilitation, clinic construction, and the Beitbridge Border Post upgrade. He also highlighted youth-focused initiatives like the Youth Quota, Youth Empowerment Funds, and the Munhumutapa Youth Housing Scheme.

“The President has always said youths are the vanguard of the party,” he noted, adding that after elections, the Head of State encouraged a focus of 20% politics and 80% economics, urging young people to be productive, avoid drug abuse, and seize opportunities for wealth creation.
